Nigel Ross’s beautiful furniture was an integral part of the Infinite Scotland stage show.
Nigel’s art developed naturally from a life working with trees. Ross is a self-taught sculptor, using his chainsaw as a carving tool. Tree trunks are saved from logging and planking and sculpted into large abstract organic forms. With landscape and nature major influences the sculptor attempts to harness the energy and strength of the tree. His work is on show at The New Art Centre, Salisbury, and Canary Wharf, London.
